Community Guidelines

Squirrels Tech is a welcoming community for students, mentors, guardians, and partners. These guidelines help us maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for everyone.

Be Respectful

• Treat all community members with kindness and respect
• Welcome diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and skill levels
• Give constructive feedback — focus on ideas, not individuals

Be Safe

• Never share personal contact information in public channels
• Report inappropriate behavior to program staff immediately
• Follow all child safety policies, especially around minor students

Be Honest

• Do your own work on assignments and projects
• Attribute sources and collaborators appropriately
• Do not misrepresent your identity, experience, or credentials

Be Collaborative

• Help fellow students learn — we grow together
• Share knowledge openly in group sessions and forums
• Celebrate others' achievements and progress

Consequences

Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent removal from programs and the platform. Serious violations, especially those involving child safety, will be reported to appropriate authorities.
